A photoshop entry, in other words, I have nothing to say...

The other night, I discovered the wonderful world of digg.com, where I will henceforth be obtaining all of my news and funny internetstuffs. The best things I've found so far? How about a really cool World War I blog that follows the letters of a British soldier to his brother and sister from training camp until, perhaps, the end of the war. The author of the site, the soldier's grandson, won't reveal if his grandfather makes it through. The entries correspond to the dates the letters were written exactly 90 years ago..well I thought it was cool..>_>

On a much lighter and more hilarious note, I discovered this gem, a countdown of the top 10 most ridiculous infomercials complete with really well written commentary about each, even citing buyer's testimonials. I literally laughed until I had to pee...

Now then, without further ado, some artsy farts pitchahs and their photoshop betterments:

For this first picture, I cropped it to focus on just the dishes, I figured the random towel and background stuff could stand to be left out. I then darkened it a bit and dulled the red of the bowl to give it a bit more of an old-timey feel. Both of these were done to take away the lack of red on the underside. Thank you kitchen lighting at 12:15 AM...

This is HBoO's favorite picture (of mine). She told me it looked like a painting, so I lightened the contrast, darkened the shadows, dulled all of the colors, then upped the saturation of the reds. The result, I think, makes it look even more like a painting. It is, in actuality, a porcelain candle holder that my mom has sitting on a file cabinet in the kitchen...

And that is all for now, as it is 1 AM and I have to be awake in a few hours so that I can box my guitar and amp and ship it to the UK. I won't be able to play for at least 10 days..:-(((((
